Pilot Travel Center

Five individual private shower rooms open to the general public at this Pilot truck stop. Each room has their own toilet, sink, bench, and mirror. Towels are provided for free, at no additional cost. Friendly staff and spacious rooms with unlimited hot water, no time limit, and excellent pressure.


Charleston

Campground at James Island County Park

Located inside the campground there are two restroom buildings that each have a few showers available. Pay the camp host a small fee (per person) and then you can easily access these. Stalls are private and have ample hot water with good pressure. Relatively clean.


Columbia

Flying J Travel Center

This is a very large Flying J that has a lot of private room showers available. Each one offers lots of amenities with their own toilet, sink, changing area, etc. They provide you towels without any additional charge. Cleaned after every use.

Petro Travel Center

Yet another truck stop in Columbia that has showers. Towels are provided. Very clean. This is your standard Petro Travel Center that is conveniently located near Interstate 77.

TA Travel Center

The TA located in the north part of Columbia, just off of Interstate 20, has several private shower rooms available for the public to use. While the price may seem a bit steep, the facility is very clean and they provide towels for each guest. Price is per shower, not per person, so you’re welcome to share with a partner or family member.


Florence

TA Travel Center

This is your standard TA truck stop that has many shower rooms open to public use. They are very clean and provide endless hot water. No time limit. Friendly staff that will give you towels to use at no extra cost.


Folly Beach

4th Street Public Beach Access

Located at the small beach parking area is a single showerhead on a wooden pole. The water is cold and it is typically used to rinse off sand, but the general public could easily use this for washing up.


Isle of Palms

Isle of Palms Recreation Department

Check-in with the friendly employee at the front desk and they will direct you to where the showers are located. There are two in each of the women’s and men’s restrooms, with plenty of hot water and privacy available. Clean facility.


Manning

TA Travel Center

Typicall TA truck stop located just off of Interstate 95. Many private shower rooms available with no time limit. Very clean facility with friendly staff. Although the price is steep, they give you free towels to use.


Myrtle Beach

Pepper Geddings Recreation Center

Several shower stalls with changing rooms that offer lots of privacy (with two curtains.) With your day pass you are also welcome to use the pool, which is very large and fun to swim in. Clean facility with friendly employees.

Springmaid Pier

Located next to the walkway you will find two cold water showers that are open to the public. While they are typically used for rinsing off sand after your beach visit, you can definitely use them to wash up. No privacy.
