Andalusia

Conecuh National Forest Open Pond Recreation Area

This is a primitive-like camping area without many amenities, except a wonderful public shower to use. The restrooms are very clean and water gets extremely hot (never seems to run out). Excellent water pressure. Nice!

Anniston

Michael Tucker Park & Chief Ladiga Trail

These showers are totally free, but they definitely smell. There’s an odor to the water and facility, but you can’t complain much because you don’t need to pay. Not super clean but hot water is nice.

Dauphin Island

Pirate’s Bar And Grill

This place has a public pool that allows you to use the showers before or after you swim. Although the shower stalls are a bit small and confined, they have great water pressure and it’s very hot.

West End Public Beach

Although the water doesn’t get very hot, this is an open public shower located at the beach parking lot. Open stalls but clean and convenient.

Gulf Shores

Gulf State Park Pavillion

These are public showers that are easy to access if you pay for a parking pass. $5 will get 4 hours of parking or $10 will let you park all day. You could also park elsewhere and simply walk down the beach to this location. Surprisingly clean and very hot water. Perfect spot!

Huntsville

Brahan Spring Recreation Center

Although these aren’t the cleanest showers around, they are completely free of charge. Just walk right in and enjoy a wash up without the need to add coins or pay any cash. Hot water and pressure is nice, but once again; they are a bit dirty.

Huntsville Aquatics Center

This is a public aquatics center that has a very nice pool and locker room with private showers available. Hot water, no time limit, and a nice place to wash up.

Monte Sano State Park Campground

For a $5 entry fee, you have access to a couple nice hot showers with good water pressure. There’s no time limit and the facilities are very clean and private. You’ll need to bring your own towel.

Orange Beach

Orange Beach Recreation Center

If you buy a day pass, you have access to several private showers. Nice facility with cleanliness throughout. The workout room is great and the showers are excellent too. Endless hot water and wonderful pressure.

Tuscaloosa

Mc Abee Activity Center

This is essentially a recreational center with a pool that has several hot showers available. Kept very clean and never seems to be busy. These are open stall showers in both the women’s and men’s changing rooms. Not much privacy but great pressure.

Tuscumbia

Love’s Travel Stop

Very clean travel stop with pay showers available. Wonderful private stalls with very hot water and ample pressure. No time limit. Towel and bath mat included. Shampoo and body soap provided as well!
