Atlantic Beach

19th St Public Shower

Located on the small wooden deck, you’ll find a metal pole with several showerheads on it. Here, you can wash up for free, although there is no privacy. Easy parking that does not cost anything.


Big Pine Key

Pine Channel Nature Park

Cold water showers available at this beautiful nature park in Big Pine Key. Open air showers so don’t expect any privacy.


Bradenton

G T Bray Aquatic Center

This is a very nice public pool that has hot showers available that are included in the $3 per person day pass. The pool is nice and the stalls are private and clean. Friendly staff!


Carrabelle

Carrabelle Beach

Located directly next to the beach are a couple of cold water showers. Expect no privacy but the area is nice and clean. Pressure is good.


Cocoa Beach

Cocoa Beach Aquatic Center

Very nice public swimming pool that has several private hot water showers available. For the price of a day pass you can also use the entire facility. Very clean and recently renovated; one of the nicer places to stop for a wash up.


Coral Gables

Matheson Hammock Park & Marina

Located on the outside of the restrooms are a couple of cold water showerheads. Not private and wide open.


Clermont

Waterfront Park

Inside of the restrooms you’ll find several shower stall cubicles that offer good privacy. The water is cold and you’re unable to change the temperature, but it feels great in the Florida heat and humidity. Relatively clean considering this is used often.


Daytona Beach

Breakers Oceanfront Park

Located here and along the boardwalk of Daytona Beach are several cold water showers open for public use. Just walk along the boardwalk and you’ll find shower poles are quite abundant. Not much privacy but they are completely free and open.


Fernandina Beach

Peters Point Beachfront Park

Located near the beach parking area you’ll find several public showers that are easily accessible. There are 5 indoor showers and two outdoor pole showers, each with two showerheads. The indoor facility is a bit dirty so bring your shoes if you want to stay clean. Hot water, great pressure, but can be busy on weekends. Plan accordingly.


Flamingo

Restroom Showers in Everglades National Park

Inside the women’s and men’s restrooms are a few private shower stalls that provide ample warm water. Not the cleanest facility around but it’s much nicer than a lot of the cold water options around here.


Fort Meyers

Fort Myers Aquatic Center

This local pool offers an inexpensive entry fee with access to the entire facility, including hot water showers. Very clean with friendly staff, but be aware; they only open up if the temperature outside is above 65 degrees.


Fort Pierce

Avalon State Park Pristine Beach Access

Located right off of the Jimmy Buffet Memorial Highway is this small parking lot with an outdoor public shower next to the picnic area. Cold water but very clean. Not very private.


Fort Walton Beach

Fort Walton Beach Recreation Center

This is a very nice rec center that has a lot of amenities, including several hot showers. Clean facility with friendly staff.


Gainesville

H Spurgeon Cherry Westside Pool

Many hot showers available at an affordable rate. The lap pool is huge and the entire facility is very clean. Stalls are private and pressure is excellent.


Indian Shores

Tiki Gardens – Indian Shores Beach Access

On the way to the beach there are a couple of outdoor showers open to the public. While these are cold water and meant for rinsing off sand, you could easily wash up; just don’t expect much privacy.


Jacksonville Beach

19th Ave N Public Beach Access

Nice outdoor shower available but with no privacy. Warm water and relatively clean with good pressure.


Jupiter

Several cold water showers open for public use. Located along the parking area and beach access.


Key Largo

Jacobs Aquatic Center

Inside the women’s and men’s changing rooms are 2 hot water shower stalls in each. While there is no curtain (don’t expect privacy), the facility is very clean and you have full access to all of the amenities.


Key Biscayne

Public Restroom at the Bridge

Small public restroom located just off of the bike trail, before the bridge crossing. These are cold water showers are outdoor and not private.

Public Restroom at Crandon Beach

There are a couple of outdoor showers on the outside of the restroom building at Crandon Beach. Expect no privacy since these are in the wide open.

Public Showers Near Cape Florida Beach

On the way to the beach from the parking area there are two wooden poles with showerheads on them. Cold water, no privacy.


Leisure City

Helen Sands Swimming Pool

This is a small outdoor pool with many hot water shower stalls available inside of the locker rooms. There are walls between each one, but no curtains to offer privacy. Clean place with a very nice pool.


Marathon

Sombrero Beach

Several outdoor cold water showers available to the general public at Sombrero Beach. You will find them located next to the yellow building on your way to the sandy beach.


Miami

Hobie Island Beach Park

Located on the outside of the restrooms is a cold water shower. Wide open and in the public so do not expect any privacy.

Z-Form Fitness

This gym is located on the 7th floor of the garage. While it’s quite expensive, you can use the workout facility included in your day pass. Very nice shower stalls with hot water, excellent pressure. Cleaned regularly. Friendly staff.


Miami Beach

79th Street Showers

Wooden deck on the way to the beach with a couple of cold water shower heads. Great pressure; no privacy.

Public Beach Showers

Two cold water showers located on the way to the beach. Expect no privacy as these are wide open for all to see.


Milton

Bear Lake Camp Ground

Warm water showers available to non-campers at the Bear Lake Camp Ground. Inexpensive to access and quite clean. The water does not get very hot, but it’s not completely cold.

Florida Trail Deaton Bridge Trailhead

Located next to the parking area is a cold water outdoor shower. It’s in the open so there’s no privacy, but it’s a nice quick spot to wash up.

Love’s Travel Stop

This is your standard Love’s truck stop that has many private shower rooms available. No time limit, endless hot water, and very clean. Towels are included in the price so there’s no need to bring your own.


Naples

River Park Aquatic Center

This is a very nice outdoor swimming pool that’s open to the general public. Completely free to enter and can get busy at times. The showers provide seemingly endless hot water and great pressure.


Navarre Beach Public Parking

Located next to the beach parking area, you’ll find a couple of lukewarm showers open to the public. Although typically meant for rinsing off sand, anyone can use them to wash up. Expect no privacy. Often very busy.


New Port Richey

James P. Gills Family YMCA

Nicely updated YMCA with free access. Just check-in with the front desk and ask them for a free shower. Water is warm, not hot, but has consistent pressure.


New Smyrna Beach

Mary McLeod Bethune Beach Park

Located on the outside wall of the restrooms, there are two cold water showerheads available for public use. Don’t expect any privacy as this place is often very busy. Good pressure.


Nokomis

Nokomis Public Beach

Located along the boardwalk that goes to the beach, you’ll find several cold water showers that are open to the general public. No privacy and can be quite busy.


Ocala

Gold’s Gym

Although it can be considered quite expensive, this Gold’s Gym in Ocala is one of the nicest places to stop for a shower. Tons of hot water and excellent pressure. Many stalls in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms with ample privacy. You can also use the gym, pool, and sauna. Very clean with friendly employees.


Olustee

Ocean Pond Campground

Located near the campground there are two showers in the men’s restrooms and two in the women’s restrooms. Plentiful hot water, although not the cleanest facility.

Olutstee Beach Day Use Area

Located in the day use area of this park are a couple of free showers for public use. The water temperature is hot and the pressure is decent. Not the cleanest, but the price is relatively cheap.


Patrick Space Force Base

Hangar’s Beach

Singular metal shower pole with three cold water showerheads on it, open for public use. No privacy but great water pressure. Located at the far south end of the parking area.

Tables Beach

A couple of outdoor cold water showers available in the parking area. Good pressure but no privacy.


Pensacola

Vickrey Community Center

The Vickrey rec center is a great place that lets guests use the weight room and showers for only $1. The facilities are clean and tidy and employees seem to be very friendly.


Pensacola Beach

1225 Fort Pickens Rd Parking

Lukewarm water showers available near this public beach parking area. Not private but completely free to use.

Casino Beach Boardwalk

Located right off the beach, you’ll find a cold water shower open to the public. It’s in the wide open so don’t expect any privacy, but it has easy access.

Fort Pickens NPS Campground

Shower house with indoor stalls that’s meant for campers but can easily be used by anyone who gets into the National Park. The facility is quite dirty and does not seem to be cleaned often, but the water is warm. Showerhead is a single stream and not that comfortable, but it works in a pinch.


Pompano Beach

Next to the beach parking area are several outdoor cold water showers. Refreshing with good pressure but expect no privacy. Very busy area.


Port St Joe

Dunes Drive Beach Access

Located inside of the small yellow building is a toilet and shower with a locking door. Although there is a window that may allow people to see through, there is a good amount of privacy. The water is cold, so don’t expect a hot shower. Can be a little dirty so bring your sandals.

Salinas Park

This local park has a cold water shower available for the public to freely use. Water pressure is good, but expect no privacy as this is an outdoor facility.

St Joe Beach

Outdoor cold water shower located behind the wood picket fence outbuilding. Private with a door to close behind you. Completely free and easy to access.


Riviera Beach

Phil Foster Park

Located under the bridge and near the beach are a couple of cold water outdoor showers available for public use. Free parking area with good access.


Rosemary Beach

Rosemary Beach Outdoor Showers

Located next to the men’s and women’s restroom is an outdoor showerhead with cold water only. Expect no privacy but easy access.


Santa Rosa Beach

Ed Walline Regional Beach Access

Located next to the restrooms and a bench, you’ll find a few outdoor cold water showers available for public use. No privacy since these are out in the open, but the pressure is great.


Sarasota

Arlington Park Sarasota

Several private showers available at this beautiful public pool. For the price of a day pass you have full access to them. Hot water and clean all-around. Great spot!

Ted Sperling Park

Cold water showers available for public use located near the restooms. It’s wide open so don’t expect any privacy.


Siesta Key

Sun Deck at Siesta Beach

Located right in front of the sky deck, you’ll find a couple of outdoor cold water showers available to the public. Don’t expect any privacy.


St. Augustine

Crescent Beach Park

A few cold water showers available near the beach area parking lot. Easy to find once you are there and walking towards the beach. No privacy but good pressure and relatively clean.


St. Pete Beach

St Pete Beach Community Center

This rec center has a very nice heated pool that’s consistently 82 degrees year-round. For the price of admission, you can use one of the many showers that each have their own shower curtain. Relatively clean and well kept with friendly employees.


Tampa

Picnic Island Park

On the backside of the restroom building you will find a showerhead on the wall. Although the temperature is cold and unable to get warm, it’s completely free; just don’t expect any privacy.


Venice

Venice Beach Showers

Several cold water showers located along the beach near the parking area. A great place to rinse sand off and wash up. These are wide open and not private.


Vero Beach

Humiston Beach Park

Located in the park next to the beach area are a couple of showers to use. The water is warmer than most but not hot. These are open stall showers with no privacy.

Jaycee Park

Cold water showers located next to the restrooms. Out in the open so there’s no privacy, but the water pressure is excellent.

Treasure Shores Park

Small wooden pole with a cold water showerhead on it. Although there is no stall or door as it’s in the open, there are many bushes nearby that make it more-private than other outdoor showers you’ll find in this area.


Wilbur-By-The-Sea

Toronita Avenue Beach Park

Cold water showers available on the outside of the public restrooms. Good water pressure but temperature is not adjustable. Pretty clean and a nice area to snag a quick wash up.


Youngstown

231 Plaza & Truck Stop

This is a Valero gas station that has a couple of showers available for use. Not entirely clean but there is a privacy, hot water, and good pressure.
