Florence

Flint Hills Fuel Mart

Smaller sized truck stop with a few showers available for public use. Cheaper than your average Love’s or Pilot location but not quite as clean as you might be used to. Very hot water and no time limits.

Goodland

Goodland Activities Center

Nice rec center that has showers open for public use. There’s no time limit and the stalls are kept very clean. The inexpensive price of the day pass grants you access to the entire facility; not just the showers.

Lawrence

East Lawrence Recreation Center

This is a really nice rec center that allows walk-in guests to use the showers if you ask the front desk nicely. Very hot water, good pressure. No towels provided so be sure to bring your own.

Sports Pavilion Lawrence

Another nicely updated rec center in Lawrence that allows guests to use the showers without a charge. Just check-in with the front desk and ask them if you could have a shower. They are very friendly. Hot water, private stalls, complimentary soap; just bring your own towel and you’re good to go.

Liberal

Toot’n Totum

Truck stop that has many hot showers available. Good temperature, lots of pressure, very clean. Just ask the front desk and they’ll take your payment and show you where to go.

Olathe

Genesis Health Clubs – East Olathe

Nicely updated gym with several private showers available. Each one has their own curtain for privacy, but no locking door. Complimentary soap and shampoo is provided in each stall. Ample hot water, great pressure. Signup for a free trial on their website and you have access without any commitment.

Salina

Flying J Travel Center

Very nice truck stop with showers that provide privacy and endless hot water. Cleaned often, although the stalls seem to be a bit on the smaller side when compared to other Pilot/Flying J locations. Staff is friendly and gives you extra towels if needed.

Salina Family YMCA

Check-in with the front counter, fill out a short form, and show your ID and you’re given free access to take a shower. Only $5 if you’d like to use all of the amenities here. Private stalls with no time limits, super hot water, and pretty clean. Friendly staff!

Scott City

Elm Grove Campground Showers

Outdoor showers near the restroom building that provide warm (but not hot) water. Totally free to use, even if you’re not staying in the campground area. Great pressure but these are open-stall so don’t expect any privacy. However, it appears seldomly used.

Sylvan Grove

This is a cheap place to stay the night in your vehicle, and the cost includes use of their shower facility. The water pressure could be better, and the temperature is only warm, not hot. Somewhat clean and private. Not too bad.

Wamego

Wamego Aquatic Center

Very nice public pool with shower facilities inside of the locker rooms. Tons of hot water, no time limits. Pretty clean for a public place.

Wellsville

Bert’s Travel Plaza

This is a very nice truck stop with clean, spacious shower rooms available to the general public. The water is very hot and there’s no time limit. Share with your partner or family member as they charge per room, not per person.

Winfield

Winfield Recreation Commission

Nice local rec center with many hot showers available inside the facility. The day pass gives you access to all of the amenities, including the shower stalls. Relatively clean with good pressure and hot water.
