Directly off of I-95 (NJ Turnpike) there is a Love’s truck stop that has many private shower rooms available to anyone. Spacious stalls but the water does not seem to be as steady and hot as other locations. Towels are complimentary and the staff is friendly.

Petro Travel Center

Standard truck stop showers available to the general public. Very hot water, free towels, pretty clean. Excellent water pressure and no time limits.

Carneys Point Township

Flying J Travel Center

This is a large truck stop with 16 individual shower rooms available. No time limits (like always) and ample hot water/pressure. Very clean; cleaned thoroughly after each guest is finished. Nice staff who will provide extra towels if needed.

Pilot Travel Center

Smaller sized Pilot truck stop with only 2 shower rooms available. They are very private but a little more cramped than other Pilot locations. Kept clean and tidy with friendly staff. Towels are complimentary. Located right off of I-295.

Beach Showers

Located right next to the beach is a hot shower in the open that’s free for public use. Very nice hidden gem. Located at the public restrooms. Only open during summer.

Montague

Lake Marcia

Free hot water showers located within High Point State Park near the lake in a small building. Private stalls, ample hot water, fairly clean. Seems to be seldomly used and not too busy. Free entry to the State Park is a nice bonus!

Ocean City

13th Street Bath House

Very nice large bath house that has 18 individual shower stalls, 27 changing booths, and 5 bathrooms. Very nice facility that was recently fully renovated. All of the rooms are air conditioned, cleaned daily, and have hair drying stations with outlets. There’s also free shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash in each stall. As a bonus, they give you free use of the OCNJ beach tag with the price of a shower fee (available to the first 100 customers each day.) Only open during the summer season.

Princeton YMCA

Super nice YMCA that offers guests a free 7 day pass if you register and show your ID at the front desk. Very hot water, smaller stalls, but clean. No towels or lock (for lockers) provided, so plan ahead.
