Charlestown

Blue Shutters Beach

This is an outside shower at the beach with no stalls. It’s an open air shower that’s usually used to rinse sand off after going to the beach. It is located behind the building, facing the beach, near the road. Parking may be hard to come by in the summer when the beach parking lot gets full. It’s closed at sunset and it may be open at sunrise. There is no staff until the parking lot is open which is at 8:00 but one could park on the dirt road outside of the parking lot next to the shower to quickly rinse off. There are no towels or anything else included. There are occupied beach houses around the lot so please be discreet.

Newport

Easton’s Beach Public Showers

Located near the Easton Beach parking area, you’ll find a small restroom building that has a couple of free cold showers available. Although typically used for rinsing off sand after swimming in the Atlantic Ocean, you could easily use them for washing up. No hot water available, and only open during summertime.

South Kingston

South Kingstown Recreation Center

This is a very nice place that offers free showers to the general public. Either register online through their website or simply ask the front desk when you walk-in. Located at the back of both the men’s and women’s locker rooms are two private shower stalls with curtains. Very hot water with great pressure. Super friendly staff.

West Greenwich

TA Travel Center

Located next to Interstate 95 and Victory Hwy is this TA truck stop that offers several private shower stalls available for public use. Open 24 hours day, each room is cleaned after each use and they even provide towels (and extras) if needed. Endless hot water, no time limit, and friendly staff.
