Otter Creek State Park

Once you pay your State Park entry fee (per vehicle) you have free access to this shower building. Inside there are several private stalls that are moderately clean but provide ample hot water.


Beaver

Ernie’s Truck Plaza

Truck stop style showers within the Sinclair gas station. Bars of soap, bath mats, and towels are provided. No time limit and very clean. Private stalls with locking doors.


Big Water

Lone Rock Beach

Although not open during the winter months, there are two outdoor shower poles for public use. Cold water only but in a beautiful setting. No privacy as it’s in the wide open.


Blanding

San Juan Wellness Center

Nice rec center with many hot water showers open to the public. Spacious stalls within a very well kept facility. No time limit with unlimited hot water and excellent pressure. Cleaned on a regular basis by the friendly staff.


Boulder

Hills & Hollows Market

Small convenience store and gas station that offers showers to anyone who stops by. Clean stalls, private room with its own sink and toilet. No time limit with endless hot water. Towels are included at no extra cost.


Bountiful

South Davis Recreation Center

Super nice rec center with many amenities that are worth checking out. The showers are spacious, very clean, and private. Amazing hot water with superb pressure. You are also free to use the pool, gym, hot tub, steam room, etc.


Bullfrog

Bullfrog Campground

Located behind the post office and laundromat is a door that will bring you to a few showers. Free to use, ample hot water, fairly clean. You will need to pay the State Park entrance fee, but otherwise there is no charge.


Cedar City

Cedar City Aquatic Center

Several private shower stalls open to the public. Water is warm (not entirely hot) but has good consistent pressure. Relatively clean with friendly staff.


Delta

West Millard Swimming Pool

Communal showers available at this indoor pool for an inexpensive price if you plan on only using the showers. Very clean and warm water; doesn’t get piping hot but it’s sufficiently warm.


Dutch John

Trout Creek Flies

Right next to the Philips 66 gas station is this small fly fishing shop that lets anyone walk in and have a shower. Very hot water, good pressure, clean stalls. Staff is very friendly and acomodating.


Draper

Draper Recreation Center

Nicely appointed rec center with some of the best hot showers around. Amazing pressure, consistent hot water, private, and very clean. They offer a shower-only pass if you plan on only showering and not using anything else inside the facility. Friendly staff!

Mountain Shadows RV Park

Nice RV park with hot showers open to the general public. You do not need to be a resident here to use them. Access is only $5 per person, but they do require you to hand over your ID, but they give it back when you check-out.


Escalante

Escalante Grand Resort

Located within the RV park are showers that are open to the public, even if you aren’t staying there. No time limit. Each shower is in its own private bathroom with a toilet and sink. Quite spacious. Very hot water.


Green River

Goblin Valley Campground

Located within Goblin Valley State Park is a campground with a couple of hot water showers that are open for public use. Pay at the entrance office and place your receipt in your window. The stalls are clean, spacious, and private. Each one has their own set of hooks, changing room, and adjustable temperature with good pressure.


Hanksville

Duke’s RV Park

A couple of nicely kept hot water showers in each of the men’s and women’s restrooms. No time limits. Pay the fee and get the door code at the front office.


Hurricane

Westside Campground

Located within Sand Hollow State Park is the Westside Campground that has a couple of shower and restroom buildings that have many private stalls open to the public. Relatively clean with ample hot water and good pressure.


Hyrum

Showers Inside Hyrum State Park

Located within this small campground are a few hot showers that are open to the general public. Very hot water, clean facility, no time limits. If you’re nice and ask the ranger, they may let you shower-only for a discounted rate.


Jensen

Outlaw Trail RV Park

Located just outside of Dinosaurs National Monument is this small RV park with coin operated showers. You must pay $5 for access and then $0.25 for each 7 minutes. Check-in with the front office to be shown where to go. Water is very hot and the place is kept very clean. Bring your own towel and soap and you’re good to go.


Lake Point

Flying J Travel Center

Conveniently located off Exit 99 on I-80, this is a large than average truck stop with private shower rooms for rent. You get your own toilet, sink, bench, and hooks to hang your stuff. Cleaned regularly after each guest leaves. Unlimited hot water with good pressure.


Logan

Logan Community Recreation Center

Many hot water communal showers located within each of the locker rooms at this rec center. Clean facility with very hot water. Not much privacy but the entire place has a lot of amenities.


Moab

Chevron

Although this place can be quite busy as it is one of the first stops on the way to Moab and Arches National Park, they have two showers that you can use. No time limit, plentiful hot water. Not the cleanest but not too bad; bring your sandals, soap, and towel.

Dowd Flats RV Park

Private shower and restroom building located at the back end of this small RV park. Check-in with the front office and pay $5, then use quarters to add time. Relatively clean with plentiful hot water.

Lazy Lizard Hostel

Hot water showers open to the general public. No time limit, very hot water with good pressure. Older facility that doesn’t seemed to be cleaned all that often, but it works. $0.50 extra for a towel. Bring your own soap, sandals, and shower gear.

Moab Recreation & Aquatic Center

Nice indoor pool with many private shower stalls in each of the locker rooms. Water can be warm (not hot) at times and may fluctuate depending on how many people are using them. Relatively clean.

Moab Rim RV Campark

Clean shower stalls available to non-campers for a nominal fee. No time limits, endless hot water, clean facility. There are 3 private stalls in each of the men’s and women’s restrooms. Each room has their own soap, toilet, and sink.

Moab RV Resort

Clean and private hot showers open to the general public at this quaint RV park. Very friendly staff, complimentary soap and shampoo dispensers in each stall. Bring your own towel, but they do provide a toilet, clean bath mat, and sink in each room.

Southtown Gym

Well-equipped gym with machines, dance room, tanning, sauna, and showers. Water is very hot and has good pressure. Relatively clean.

Sun Outdoors Moab Downtown

One of the best spots to snag a hot shower near downtown Moab. Very hot water with excellent pressure and no time limits. Clean facility with private curtains on each stall.

Up the Creek Campground

Another great spot to wash up in Moab. Clean showers with ample hot water and no time limits. Bring your own towel, soap, and sandals. Check-in with the front office and they’ll show you where to go.


Monument Valley

Goulding’s Resort RV & Campground

Several individual private shower stalls open to the general public just outside of Monument Valley. Very hot water, cleaned often.


Monticello

Needles Outpost Campground

Token-operated showers located inside the small outbuilding near the entrance of the campground. Works on tokens which can be purchased at the entrance station before you get here. Facility is relatively clean but water is inconsistent in both pressure and temperature.

Westerner RV Park

Nice showers within the RV park here in Monticello. Very hot water with amazing pressure. Stalls are private and kept clean and tidy. Check-in with the front office to make your payment and be shown where to go.


North Salt Lake

Legacy Park

Located next to the splash pad you will find a couple free cold water showers open for public use. Only open during the Spring and Summer months but a convenient place to wash up. No privacy.


Orangeville

Food Ranch

Located upstairs are two showers that have no time limits. Go to the front desk register to pay and they will show you where to go. Clean stalls with privacy and ample hot water/good pressure.

Orangeville Public Showers

Located on the backside of the small restroom building are a couple of hot water showers that take quarters. Water temperature is not adjustable and is set to very hot. Relatively clean. Open seasonally (closed during winter.)


Panguitch

Bear Valley RV & Camping Resort

Really nice hot showers open to the general public. Private stalls with changing areas. Kept very clean; one of the tidiest showers around! Unlimited hot water with no time limits.


Park City

The Basin Recreation Fieldhouse

Beautiful, upscale rec center with amazing showers. Super spacious and well kept; cleaned often. Endless hot water, friendly staff.


Provo

Provo Recreation Center

Large and beautiful rec center with many private shower stalls open to the public. Simply purchase a day pass and you have access to the entire facility. There are no shower-only passes available, but the price is affordable. Clean and updated facility with spacious stalls and unlimited hot water.


Richfield

Flying J Travel Center

Standard truck stop showers with private rooms and unlimited hot water. Cleaned after each guest and towels are provided at no additional cost. Conveniently located off of I-70 at Exit 40. Friendly staff.

Richfield City Swimming Pool

Communal showers located within each of the locker rooms. Push-button style with one set temperature. May start off a little cold but quickly warms up to a nice hot temperature.


Salt Lake City

Located between the hotel and the climbing gym, you’ll find a locker room that has private shower stalls. Act discreet and you can easily use these for free. Clean and updated; a hidden gem.

Love’s Travel Stop

Typical truck stop located in the “bad part of town.” But their showers are spacious, clean, and there’s no time limits. Very hot water with friendly staff. Towels are complimentary.


Sandy

Dimple Dell Recreation Center

Another beautiful rec center with many amenities. Shower-only passes make things cheap if you only need to wash up. Large private stalls and family rooms as well. Clean with amazingly hot water and good pressure.


Scipio

Flying J

Standard truck stop style showers at this Flying J location right off of Interstate 15. Clean facility with very hot water and great pressure. Towels are provided for free.


Springdale

Zion Guide Hub

Located around the back side of the building are a couple of showers that are open to the public. Go inside to pay and they will show you to them. Very clean and updated with lots of hot water. Closed during the winter months.

Zion Outfitter

Nicely updated tile showers with piping hot water. Can be dirty at times but not all that bad. Private stalls with friendly staff. Purchase tokens at the front desk and you’re good to go.


Springville

Clyde Recreation Center

Another upscale rec center offering many amenities. Family-oriented so there are plenty of private shower stalls and changing rooms. Water pressure is good but the temperature could be hotter. It’s warm but not piping hot.


St. George

Sand Hollow Aquatic Center

Fully equipped aquatic center with many amenities including a pool, splash pad, climbing wall, slide, and indoor water park. Endless hot water showers in clean stalls. Friendly employees and spacious throughout.

St. George Recreation Center

Newly renovated showers inside the St. George rec center. Private individual stalls with endless hot water. Kept clean and tidy.


Syracuse

Bridger Bay

Once you get into the Antelope Island State Park, you’ll find a free outdoor shower here. There are also coin-operated (quarters) showers inside the facility. Hot water is plentiful and the pressure is OK. Relatively clean considering this place seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere.


Vernal

Split Mountain Travel Plaza

Surprisingly nice truck stop with pay showers available. They provide you with your own towel and there’s complimentary soap if needed. Fairly clean with good water pressure and endless hot water; no time limits.

The Uintah Community Center

Very nice rec center with many private shower stalls open to the general public. Ample hot water with consistent water. Overall a clean facility with friendly staff.


Washington

Washington City Community Center

A really nice rec center with some of the cheapest showers around. No time limit, very hot water, good pressure. Many private stalls in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms. Clean facility.


Wellington

Miller’s Travel Center

Truck stop showers that are hot and clean. Towels are provided and you’re allowed to share the shower with your partner at no additional cost.

Outlaw Cafe

Located within the restrooms are showers that are open for public use. The water is warm and there’s no time limit, but it can be dirty at times. Check-in with the friendly staff if you need to be shown your way.


West Valley City

Redwood Recreation Center

Showers available to the general public in the morning and evening hours; check their website for updated hours. Very clean, friendly staff with ample hot water and pressure.

West Valley City Family Fitness Center (Rec Center)

Massive rec center with a full pool and just about everything else you could think of. Very nice showers with lockers available. Sufficient hot water and pressure. Friendly staff!
