Located in the small brown brick building are a couple of hot water showers that are coin-operated and open to the public. A little dirty with a rough floor, so definitely bring some sandals. Doesn’t seem to be used all that often, but the water is hot and the pressure is decent.

Baileys Harbor

Baileys Harbor Town Marina

Located within the marina is a small building with a locked door (for marina guests) that has paid showers available. However, on the side of this same building is a free public shower. Kept very clean.

Bayfield

Little Sand Bay

Located within the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and across from the visitors center is a small building with a couple of pay showers available. Water is hot, pressure is good. Doesn’t seem to be cleaned that often, but it works well for a wash up!

Black River Falls

Flying J Travel Center

Large truck stop with spacious shower rooms that are very private. Endless hot water with excellent pressure. Facility isn’t as clean as most Flying J locations but it’s not that bad. Towels provided.

Franksville

Pilot Travel Center

Typical Pilot truck stop with many showers open for public use. Located just south of Milwaukee. Cleaned often, no time limit on the hot water. Towels provided.

Herbster

Herbster Campground

A couple of public showers inside of the FEMA trailer that provide hot water. However, there is no ventilation and the water temperature fluctuates greatly between hot and cold. Quite dirty and unkept, but it works in a pinch.

Hub City

Hub City Park

Located within the restrooms are a couple of coin operated showers that are open for the public to use. The building is near the ballfield and next to home plate, across the way. Good water pressure and warm water.

Kenosha

Simmons Island Beach

Public showers located in the open near the beach on Simmons Island. Good pressure but water is cold.

Madison

TA Travel Center

Several private shower rooms available to the general public at the TA truck stop. Very clean and tidy with ample hot water and pressure. Towels are provided.

Middleton

Mendota County Park

Beautiful county park located on Lake Mendota that has two showers in each of the restrooms. Water is hot with good pressure. Not the cleanest place, but you can’t complain because it’s free to use!

Oregon

Oregon Community Pool

Nice private showers located within both locker rooms. Entry fee gets you access to the entire facility, which is very nice. Clean with very hot water.

Prairie du Chien

BP Gas Station

Truck stop style showers at the BP gas station. Clean with ample hot water and good pressure.

Roberts

Flying J Travel Center

Conveniently located off US 65 and I-94 is this Flying J truck stop with pay showers open to the public. Spacious stalls that seem to be kept very clean. Unlimited hot water with good pressure. Towels are provided at no extra cost.

Sherwood

High Cliff State Park

Located next to the beach and swimming area there is a small building with a couple of hot water showers that are free for the public to use. Indoor stalls with privacy; one in each of the men’s and women’s restrooms.

Stanley

Chapman Lake Campgrounds(Showers)

Several private stall hot water showers available within this campground. Camp host will likely use them even if you’re not staying in the camping area. Clean and spacious with privacy.

Sturgeon Bay

Sturgeon Bay Private Showers

This is a true gem; large restroom with two free hot water showers that are open for the public to use. Locks on each of the stalls with excellent pressure and a super clean facility. All they ask you to do is simply squeegee the glass after you use them.

Superior

Superior Douglas County Family YMCA

Several private and open stall showers available at this local YMCA. You must check-in with the front desk, provide a photo ID, and sign a waiver with your fee. Relatively clean, and you’re free to use the sauna as well. Not a bad spot.

Two Rivers

Neshotah Beach Concession Building

Just outside of the restroom and concession building you will find a single shower pole with a coupel showerheads on it. Cold water and in the open so don’t expect any privacy. Good water pressure!
