Typical Love’s truck stop with several hot showers available to the public. Unlimited hot water, clean stalls, friendly staff. Complimentary towels are included at no extra cost.

Big Springs

Flying J Travel Center

One of the largest Flying J truck stops out there with a whopping 18 private shower rooms available for the general public. Spacious showers that are cleaned after each use. Unlimited hot water, ample pressure, and complimentary towels. They charge per room, so you can split it with a guest. Toilets, sinks, mirrors, and chairs in each room.

Crawford

Red Cloud Campground

This is a quaint campground that lets the general public use their shower facility, even if you’re not staying in the campground. Plentiful hot water, good pressure, semi-private.

Falls City

Stanton Lake Park

Public park with coin operated showers that are very inexpensive. Hot water plentiful, but can be a bit dirty as it is not cleaned very often.

Lincoln

Belmont Recreation Center

Three shower stalls with changing areas located in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms. Cheap price, clean facility with many amenities. Each shower has its own curtain and no time limits. Very hot water with good pressure.

F Street Community Center

Several private shower stalls inside of the locker rooms. Each one has their own locking door. With admission, you’re free to use the weight room, basketball court, gym, track, pool tables, and other amenities. Nice place!

Northeast YMCA

While the price of a day pass here at this YMCA is steep, many have reported that you can shower-only for free as long as you register with the front desk. Must show your ID and fill-out a small form for access. Clean facility with ample hot water to wash up.

North Platte

Fat Dogs

If you haven’t been to a Fat Dogs to shower, you’re missing out. This location has some of the nicest, most luxurious showers when compared to any other truck stop; and they’re cheaper than most! No time limit, unlimited hot water, very clean. Towels provided. Feels like a nice hotel!

Flying J Travel Center

Decently nice Flying J truck stop with private room showers available. Price is much steeper than the Fat Dogs truck stop down the road. Good water temperature and pressure.

Oakland

Oakland City Park

Open stall showers located inside of the men’s and women’s restroom building. Lots of hot water, relatively clean. Nice little town that feels safe.

Ogallala

Fat Dogs

The showers here at the Fat Dogs truck stop are some of the nicest showers you’ll find on the road. Spacious stalls with multiple sprayers; quite luxurious. Very clean, no time limit, unlimited hot water. Towels are included and you have plenty of privacy.

TA Travel Center

Right across from Fat Dogs, you’ll find a TA that also has showers, but these aren’t quite as nice, and the price is steeper. Hot water and complimentary towels, but doesn’t seem as clean as it should be. Plus, the price is steep. Just go to Fat Dogs…

Omaha

Mockingbird Hills Community Center and Pool

Several clean showers that are accessible with the price of a day pass. Large pool also. Very hot water with excellent pressure. Friendly staff. If you’re lucky, they might even let you shower-only for free.

Stuart

Stuart Municipal Park Campground

In each of the men’s and women’s restrooms are hot showers to use, absolutely free of charge. The building is located right across from the baseball fields and behind the bleachers of the football field. This is a small town that is very safe feeling and offers this for travelers passing through. Nice place to stop.

Wood River

Pilot Travel Center

A bit smaller of a facility than your average Pilot, but nice nonetheless. Shower rooms are cleaned frequently, hot water is plentiful, and complimentary towels are nice to have.
